Sorry, but there is no evidence that any herbs or nutrients in any combinations have the effect of “boosting memory” etc. The website that sells the stuff (and it’s not cheap) offer nothing other than testimonials, they do not offer links to scientific evidence.
A good thing to do when checking out these places is scroll down to the bottom of the webpage for the “Quack Miranda Warning” which I’ve pasted below. Basically…even the website doesn’t say this stuff works…because that makes them subject to lawsuits. REAL treatments have no such warnings in fine print.

I do agree with SkepDoc on one thing… the product is incredibly overpriced and is only supported by testimonials which raises a big red flag that there’s a good chance it’s a scam. There are far too many websites that use products like this and overly market it to jack up the price and/or to not sell that actual product (eg. having less than the amount of the ingredients listed or not having some of the ingredients at all). Personally, I would stay away from most online ads for pills because of the huge potential for fraud.
That being said, I’m also concerned about something you said… for helping with your school work. Many of the brain health supplements are in doses that are very beneficial and very safe for those who are 18 and over, but may be too much (or in some cases unsafe) for anyone under 18.
If you are 18 or over, there are several natural options that are very popular (and that are in the Mind-Powder-Rx product) including Ginkgo Biloba, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Fish Oil (Omega 3), Phosphatidylserine (abbreviated PS), DMAE, Huperzine A, Bacopa Monnieri (or Monniera), and Vinpocetine.
If you’re under 18, I would check with your doctor to see what doses of any of those would be safe, but Fish Oil is one of the only brain health supplements that’s commonly recommended for minors.
There are a LOT of people that get a lot of benefit from any combination of those. I would suggest adding one at a time to your daily regiment as too much too fast can be tough. I would recommend starting pretty much in order of how I listed them… that’s a pretty good listing in order of popularity and effect for the general population. Also, every one of those supplements has been tested and verified to give those benefits for brain health, mental focus, and/or memory support. The FDA specifically requires that supplement companies have proof to backup any claims they make (even as simple as helping with “brain health”) and I’ve seen the reams and reams of paper that have studies on all of these various products in our Compliance department.
Good luck and I hope I helped!
